The Pikes Peak Region Adventure Tour

The Pikes Peak Region Adventure Tour is a Round of the AMA Yamaha Super Ténéré National Adventure Riding Series – June 27 - July 1 2016

Pikes Peak Region Adventure Tour

This is a “low-key, high adventure, no hassle” self-guided ride, using a Roll Chart or GPS Tracks to navigate an unmarked route. We portage your gear and a chase vehicle will follow most of the way. Your motorcycle should have aggressive adventure tires, must have a USFS approved spark arrestor and excessive noise is a BIG issue, as noise is used to limit our right to ride. You should have current medical & liability insurance coverage and be licensed to operate your motorcycle.

• On Monday June 27th 2016 in the evening we will stay at a secluded, historical estate at the foot of the front range of the Rocky Mountains.
• Tuesday June 28th we will stay at a secluded, exclusive and historical rugged ranch on a Gold Medal Trout river in a high altitude valley.
• Wednesday June 29th we will stay at a secluded, exclusive rugged Mountain Lodge below 14,000 peaks on the Continental Divide.
• Thursday June 30th we will return to the secluded historical estate at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
• Thursday night we will have an included Free raffle for Sponsor swag and certificates.
• Tuesday and Wednesday you will have the opportunity to camp for a reduced rate.

Platte River

On the Pikes Peak Region Adventure Tour you would be most comfortable on a big Adventure Motorcycle. Any motorcycle event comes down to the rider’s skill level and the type of tires installed. If you have the wrong tires your skill level won’t really matter, you’ll struggle regardless.

At sign-in, you will receive your ride packet, roll chart for Day 1, T-shirt, swag, stickers, Etc. You will be required to sign a liability release form. GPS Tracks will be emailed to all participants at least two week prior to departure.
